The variety of places that Jentina has been referenced and linked made me realise both the true variety of people who read this site and the also the valuable service that this site provides in alerting our overseas readers to the dirge wealth of UK music talent of which they might otherwise not learn. Accordingly, I bring you Blue.
For the uninitiated, Blue are a UK boyband. They formed sometime ago, and until recently had the expected career of bland, heartfelt ballads. All this changed with the release of 'Bubblin''.
This screenshot truly shows how far they have developed from their original boyband template castings. It is also heartening to note that they are all willing to share the spotlight - note the one on the right helpfully pointing out who you should be looking at at this particular juncture.
Despite this advancement, each member still performs a specific role, which helps avoid jealousy. This is the skinny one who makes the girly noises. Outside of this group, he would quite rightly be mocked.
This is the token black guy. He links the verses with shouts of "uh, uh, yeah" and gives the group some cred by throwing these old school rave shapes.
This member contributes little vocally, but more than makes up for it by wearing a suit. He also regularly pulls a face that I take to mean "You fancy me because I am in Blue, and I know it". Looking at him, I suspect that in the initial casting he was intended to be the chubby one.
I'm not sure who these women are. They aren't in the group, but the one in the middle sings most of this song.
This is the one who carries the group, in that he is the one who is sufficiently articulate to talk to CD:UK about how, yes, they're really looking forward to playing some shows with Emma Bunton.
Introductions over, it is now suit boy's turn to get down. That's some slick dancing there, grandad.
